This Organised

Hey! We are two friend, Avinash and Kavita (me) who are trying to make our lives just slightly simpler, and more organised.

The last year has been one filled with chaos for the entire world. Systems were thrown in disarray, plans went haywire, and most people found themselves scrambling to play catch up with life. This was no different for the two of us. Even though it was a pretty good year for both of us in a number of ways (especially because we managed to not catch the dreaded C-virus), there was a lot we wanted to change.

Organisation is not one of our strong suits. Neither is planning nor is sticking to a routine. As I am slowly starting to realise that to be able to do the things I want to do, even just to have fun, I need to plan my life better. A couple of weeks ago, I started listening to a few productivity podcasts. That’s when the idea of This Organised was born.

Through this project, both Avinash and I will pick a productivity method, and an app and compare our experiences. To begin with, we decided to start with David Allen’s Getting Things Done method, which we will be using on the Nozbe app ( ). If this works, I hope to have had an extremely productive year, or at the very least I hope to gain some tools to help me keep track of the things I need to do, and hopefully have a fun year.
